Adult Class - PM

Tonight we had a great class. Exactly 9 people showed up, and Nancy even volunteered to cox. She didn't have to be told to steer once! The 8 rowers did fantastic and made some great strides. They even rowed by ALL 8 ON THE FEATHER!! Oh, and this was their FOURTH day on the water. Ever. Impressive, yes? I think so.

Coach Kit was there tonight, and we had a visitor - UMass Amherst rower, Patrick Kielty. He chimed in and tried some pause drills with the group and the result was the best quote of the day: "Coaching is hard!". Unfortunately he'll be moving in a week to take a new job, but he liked what he saw and wants to stay connected, since he's from Fairhaven.

We've got some great rowers and they're doing an amazing job picking up the sport. The morning group is equally as impressive and I'm very excited for the progress they can make.
