Dollahs!

This morning the Bristol County Savings Bank awarded New Bedford Community Rowing (through Community Rowing Incorporated in Brighton) a $5000 charitable grant! It was a great event and we mingled with some interesting folks doing great things for the New Bedford Community.

Mayor Scott Lang was there as well as Bruce Smith from CRI. It was videotaped and still photos were taken, so hopefully you'll see it on your cable access channel and in the paper. Once we're able to get a copy of the official photograph with those amazing people at the bank, we'll post it. Not only here, but also on Facebook AND our new website!! www.newbedfordcommunityrowing.org We're very lucky and very excited for this grant to allow us to continue putting out boats and bringing social change to New Bedford.

Now...if the rain, thunder and lightening would just go away.......
